recipes by G. Rogers
Not as helpful as anticipated. Can not find all

the ingredients listed in recipes. Just use what

I have on hand and that seems to work the best

for me.

Slim Smoothies by Shelley Iverson
Great recipes. I was just hoping for more that had just ice, fruits and fruit juices rather than yogurt.

great smoothie recipes by Karen Anderson
I reviewed a lot of smoothie recipe books before purchasing this one, based on its reviews. It has an amazing number of delicious recipes that don’t require a lot of extravagant or hard-to-find ingredients, and that’s important. If you can’t find the ingredients in a recipe or they become too costly, you likely will not get much use out of a recipe, but that’s not the case here.

There’s a wonderful variety of recipes that are highly nutritious and they sound absolutely delicious too.

I recommend this book to anyone as a great introduction to smoothie making.

Smoothie Makers Be Warned by Lincoln County MT
Recently I visited a new doctor who took my history of allergies. I’ve been allergic to Latex/Rubbers since 1953. So I chuckle when someone mentions the newest allergy or sensitivity fad to belong to. Anyway for years I’ve known to be careful about over ripe bananas but was surprised she warned me to avoid mangos at all times. It’s not that these two fruits will cause a reaction alone but they seem to play a role with some people who have a latex sensitivity sort of synergistic I suppose. Anyway for those who know they are sensitive to latex be careful about the ingredients you use in your smoothies or think about it at least. I realized this needs an update. THis booklet is pretty good for and you can come up with your own ideas for healthy and low cal drinks by taking into account some of the recipes given within this book. I use both Splenda and Stevia. I use Splenda packets as sugar sub as the only one on my table usually. It works well on my morning shredded wheat. I soften it with a bit of hot coffee then pour on the milk of choice and sprinkle just one packet of splenda over all. I’ve never had a large sweet tooth but enjoy finding new methods around the straight sugar issue. Think outside the box and outside this booklet too and apply ground flax seeds for fiber and find your favorite sugar sub and go for it! Chocolates are great by the way cold and with ice….and find the ones that work in milk but use them in water.
